If suitable for you fume extraction solution, there will be no associated installation costs compared to a fixed system.

These fume extractors are adaptable in a confined space, as they can be wheeled out of the way when not required,  however for larger metal production facilities, involving several welders working concurrently, a fixed static system may be preferred: see Fume Arm/Fume Filtration section.

• Fitted with metal hoods as standard (compared to plastic hoods on cheaper models)
• Include heavy duty metal tubes fit for activity an industrial workshop situation
• Use external hinging making them virtually maintenance free as they have no internal mechanism to jam
• Air flow is more efficient and safer for the welder as there is no internal mechanism to cause eddies

Our Fume Arm supplier is acknowledged as producing the best fume arms globally.  

Avoid having the hood too far from the work - it will not work efficiently putting the welder and other nearby staff at risk.

Which Fumecube to choose?

• Small Mobile Units - FumeCubes
  These Fume Extractors - Fumecubes are aimed at fume extraction and filtering in a welding workshop where it is beneficial that the air is returned safely to the workspace atmosphere, and a static system is not required as they are welding sporadically.
• Dust Kart
  The larger Fume DustKart units are designed for fume extraction, and to handle larger volumes of fumes, with the benefit of compressed air cleaning. This means they are able to filter small dust volumes generated from grinding processes.

Even the best Fumecube must be used correctly ie the hood must be moved scontinually to allow the  fumes to be extracted AWAY from the welder!
